These include photographs of daily life during the interwar period, photographs and documents from his service in Capetown, South Africa (1942-1943) and in Bombay, India (1943-1944), and a small collection of photographs taken during his civilian life in Calgary, Canada from 1955 to 1978.

He was Killed in Action 13 June, 1944.

Contains a series of letters written to family member's during John Sheridan's time at Stalag Luft 3 as a Prisoner of War. The letters go from 1942 until his release in 1945. One postcard included was written during the First World War by a Sheridan family member who was serving overseas. His direct connection to John is unknown.
