A collection of photographs spanning Lloyd Douglas Thompson's service in the Canadian military. This includes photographs from the First World War (1914-1919), Thompson's volunteer service with the 17 Cavalry Field Ambulance (1926-1936), Thompson's service with the Royal Canadian Navy (1936-1939), and Thompson's service in the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1939 until his retirement in 1964. Locations for his service and the photographs include West Coast of Canada ('39-'46), St. Hubert, Comox ('56), and Calgary ('58).
