The fonds contains a diary written by Jim Thorton Saunders during his service as a Navigator for the RAF during the Second World War. The diary covers the periods of January to July of an unknown year - potentially 1942 or 1943) during Saunders’ training with the RAF in England. A transcription of the journal is available upon request.
