A collection of photographs and diary entries in an album, detailing Mary Elizabeth Fairey's time serving as a civilian nurse to the U.S.A.F. up in the Canadian Yukon. The photographs covers the periods between 1942 with the start of construction on the "Alcan Highway" that stretched from Edmonton, Alberta to Fairbanks, Alaska and its completion in 1944.
