Ariel photograph of the Fraser River flood of 1948. Shows Glendale Chilliwack's Chinatown completely submurged in muddy water. Homes and business are surrounded and debris floats in the water. A small portion of roadway is visible before being swallowed up by water further down. Bottom right hand corner written in white ink: "S.I. 3279 Glendale (Chinatown) Chilliwack. 8" 31 May 1948". Black and white original, 8x10"
